🎓 On 16 March, the CBD Caravane arrived at the University of Seville for a dynamic double book launch hosted by the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship and the team of Professor Francisco Liñán. The event introduced the first Culture-Based Development (CBD) book, Culture Based Development: Modelling Cultural Bias in Economic Choice, published by Edward Elgar, alongside the new volume by Vasilios Stouraitis, which explores culture, entrepreneurship, and socio-economic development with a focus on the Global South.
The audience enjoyed an engaging discussion connecting cultural economics to contemporary development challenges. It was also a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues from Liverpool and hear updates on Seville’s expanding internationalisation and PhD initiatives.
Warm thanks go to the Swansea colleagues who helped forge this collaboration and to the Seville team for creating such an inspiring, well-attended event.
